In Memory

Scott Smith

Sharing sad news from Greg Siri . . .

It is with profound sadness, and a huge hole in my heart, that I share the passing of my dear friend, Scott M. Smith. It is rare to have people in your life you can truly call “best friend”. Scotty was one of those. He’d give you the shirt off his back, or the gold bracelet off his wrist. Maybe he was a big-hearted soul in a pretty harsh world. Maybe he was just tired of grinding through this lifetime. Maybe he’s a reminder to us all to find joy in life, to celebrate life, to love all of our brothers and sisters, and to hold close those you hold dear. Scotty was celebrated in a gathering of friends on a Friday night in December. He was toasted over shots of Don Julio and wedges of lime as he would have had it. There remain no shortage of stories to tell. Scotty’s ashes were scattered below Bell Rock in Sedona, Az., a spiritual and favorite place of his, on December 29, 2020. Schmitty, I hope you find in the between lives the peace you often found elusive here. I hope you love cruising the astral plane - most likely at speed. I look forward to rolling the universe together, and to hanging in our next lives here. Fare you well, my brother. I love you. I will miss you dearly. I am far from alone. You will not be forgotten, your memory will remain...
